Author Sarah Kelly earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology and put that knowledge into play in five years of experience working in the police force as a Crime Analyst. There are television series now that spotlight crime analysts (Criminal Minds etc) that have defined the importance of analyzing crime cases to provide profiling input on predators. Her history of aiding the police in solving major murder and missing persons cases gives her a head start on creating characters whose focus is similar to her own background.
Sarah writes about witches and marries her own career with that of the ‘unknown’ in this novel DYING TO KEEP A SECRET, Book 6 in the India Kirby Witch Mysteries. Her India Kirby is a memorable concoction who will be with us in several novels in this series. But despite the fact that Sarah’s main character has ‘special gifts’ she still keeps us grounded in the present.
As always Sarah’s synopses capture the flavor of the story without giving it away – ‘India Kirby was once a skeptic when it came to magical things…But now both she and her husband Xavier have embraced their unusual powers and use them to solve mysteries as private investigators.
